Rifra adopts a structured approach that encompasses three key dimensions. Taken together, these three ESG dimensions define how Rifra interprets its role in the market and in society: a responsible role, oriented towards quality, safety, and the creation of sustainable value for people and the local area:
The first concerns the commitment to sustainable development, which takes the form of measurable actions such as the focus on and choice to use safer substances, the research into innovative formulations useful for our market’s processes, energy efficiency, the reduction of waste and environmental impacts, the adoption of certified management systems, and constant attention to the health and safety of people. Sustainability is considered a shared responsibility and a strategic and cultural guideline that supports business evolution.
The second dimension is represented by a governance that puts people at the center, has a vision open to change, and directs its social and economic compliance, maintaining a high level of regulatory and management conformity. The Company oversees the quality of its products, the protection of workers, transparency in relationships with all stakeholders, and the correctness of behavior, ensuring corporate management in line with current regulations and the principles of its own Code of Ethics, aimed at building long-lasting values.
The third dimension concerns membership in industry associations, through which Rifra contributes to the development of the plastics supply chain, actively participates in institutional dialogue, and maintains constant updates on regulations and sector dynamics. Belonging to organizations such as Federazione Gomma Plastica, Confindustria Brescia, and CFREP – EuPC contributes to being an active part of the industry and strengthens the company’s role within the national and European industrial system.
