How We Produce

Controlled processes, advanced automation, and maximum flexibility to meet every market requirement

Management and Monitoring

For each work order, all parameters necessary for recipe management and monitoring are recorded, with systematic checks performed by specialized personnel. The new warehouse has enabled the introduction of a digitalized location system for raw materials and finished products, which speeds up internal and external handling operations.

Automation and Safety

Automatic bagging systems, storage silos with pneumatic transport directly to production lines, and automatic manipulators designed to reduce physical strain have been implemented, improving work quality and operational continuity.

Production Flexibility

Production lines are configured to ensure maximum flexibility, enabling both high-volume production runs and small batches of masterbatches, thereby meeting the needs of customers with different demand requirements and customization levels.

Operational Continuity

The department is equipped with twin extruders, which allow production continuity even in the event of failures on one of the lines, and can rely on support from the associated company’s facility for any additional capacity requirements.

The Production Process

From raw material to finished product: a sequential and controlled process

The masterbatch production process is based on the uniform dispersion of pigments and additives within a polymeric matrix, with the goal of obtaining a homogeneous concentrate capable of imparting specific aesthetic and functional characteristics to finished products, such as color, light resistance, heat resistance, UV resistance, flame resistance, and much more. Production takes place through sequential phases including raw material retrieval, mixing, extrusion, granulation, bagging, and storage of finished products. Thanks to advanced technologies, controlled processes, and a strong focus on quality, Rifra guarantees reliable, flexible production oriented to the needs of a constantly evolving market.
