UNI EN ISO 50001:2018

The company adopts a certified system compliant with the UNI EN ISO 50001:2018 standard for energy management, supporting a continuous improvement process and reduction of environmental impacts.

ISCC PLUS

The certification portfolio is completed by the ISCC PLUS scheme, which ensures traceability and sustainability of raw materials and products throughout the supply chain.

PRS Green Label

In parallel, collaboration with the PRS Green Label network enables reduction of carbon footprint and packaging waste, promoting the reuse of wooden pallets from PEFC or FSC certified sustainable sources.

With a view to developing sustainable products, the RIFRABIO® All Color and RIFRABIO® Blacks ranges meet the UNI EN 13432 standard and are certified “OK Compost Home”, “OK Compost Industrial” and “OK Biodegradable Soil”, guaranteeing compostability and biodegradability according to European standards.

Alongside certifications, Rifra adopts supplier selection and evaluation processes based on ESG criteria. Through the “Qualification Questionnaire“, the company evaluates quality, reliability, ethical conduct, and regulatory compliance, ensuring a responsible supply chain aligned with its standards. Supplier monitoring is continuous and includes verification of certifications and compliance with agreed technical requirements. In recent years, the company has also joined the EcoVadis rating, one of the leading international sustainability assessment systems, which analyzes performance in four areas: environment, human rights and labor conditions, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The integration of EcoVadis criteria into supply chain processes enables Rifra to strengthen risk management and promote responsible practices throughout the entire value chain.

Confirming its economic and financial strength, Rifra has obtained the Rating 1 – Maximum Reliability Index since 2004, with three-year validity, a recognition that demonstrates management reliability, consistent performance, and value creation capacity.
